Murfreesboro Homes for Sale
The average cost of new Murfreesboro homes for sale has been on the rise over the past few years as well as the number of new homes being built. In 2000 the average price of a new single family home was under $100,000, but that has changed over the past six years. In 2001 the price jumped up to $102,200 and 1136 new family home permits were sold. Then, in 2002, 1282 single family home permits were sold for an average cost of $107,900. The year 2003 saw a continued increase with 1603 new family home permits sold at an average building cost of $112,800. Then, in 2004 the numbers were 1906 and $121,200 and in 2005 1793 and $125,400. As you can see there is an upward trend in the average cost of homes and the number of homes being built. The last year of available data shows a small decline in the number of homes built, but still it is a lot of homes. If you are interested in Murfreesboro real estate now is the time to buy because the prices are just going up.
